Lucas Matthysse, tumba via knock-out kay Manny Pacquiao

The Filipino people just witnessed an old yet hundred times stronger performance of boxing icon Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao after putting Lucas Matthysse on a technical knockout. On his 60th victory, the People’s Champ scored it via knockout, a kind of win that he last won in almost nine years ago. During their much-awaited fight at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the 39-years-old boxing icon once again proved to us why he is called the People’s Champ by showing a good mix of speed and aggression, a style that made him a global boxing icon. On the earlier round, Pacquiao gave the hard-hitting Argentinian boxer a combination which hinted the beginning of his defeat. During the latter part of the fifth round, Matthysse could be seen going down on his knees to avoid receiving a further blow from the “Pambansang Kamao”. When Matthysse finally got the chance to hit Pacquiao on the 6th round, it made the Filipino boxer more energized and eventually unleashed his beast mode during the 7th round by releasing multiple-punch combination which made the Argentinian boxer fell down on his knees. After the victorious fight, the boxer-turned-Senator said that he is dedicating this historic win to the Filipino people and to President Rodrigo Duterte, who is also present at the venue to show his support to his ally. Currently, Pacquiao has 60 victories, seven defeats, and two draws. Source: GMA
