Trillanes, kinwestyon ang mataas na rating ni Pangulong Duterte

Critics are once again on the roll after Pulse Asia revealed President Rodrigo Duterte’s recent rating result based on the agency’s June 2018 survey.
According to the survey conducted between June 15 to 21, 2018, the President got an 88-percent approval rating which is eight points higher than his score from March of the same year.

Because of this survey result, the President’s number one critic took to social media to slam Pulse Asia’s recent survey result.
In his official Facebook page, opposition Senator Antonio Trillanes IV said that the survey agency is always a failure recalling an incident during the 2007 Senatorial Elections where he was ranked on the 20th yet won landing on the 11th ranking.
“GANITO KA-SABLAY ANG PULSE ASIA: Noong nag-survey sila two weeks before 2007 Senatorial Elections, sabi ng survey nila, ako ay Rank #20 (16-21). Pero kinalaunan, nanalo ako na Rank #11 kahit na nadaya pa sa ilang probinsya,” Trillanes said.
He then questioned Pulse Asi’as credibility and said, “Ngayon, papaniwalaan mo pa ba ang 88% Trust Rating nila kay Duterte?”
On Friday, the Malacañang, through Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque expressed gratitude to the public for continuously trusting President Duterte and applauding his performance.
“The President views these latest survey results with all humility; however, he is not leading the country for the sake of high or good ratings,” he said.
