Former Senator Jinggoy Estrada thanked Mayor Inday Sara for “endorsing” him

Former Senator Jinggoy Estrada met Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte and he announced that he was not disappointed for meeting the presidential daughter. In his Facebook post, Estrada thanked Inday Sara for “endorsing” him, however, he didn’t elaborate what kind of endorsement did he get from the Davao City Mayor. “I cannot find the right words to express my gratitude and appreciation for your endorsement. Daghang salamat Mayora Inday Sara! Mabuhay po kayo!!!” Jinggoy said in his post. Apparently, Estrada got a political endorsement from Inday Sara, as the latter led the political party Hugpong ng Pagbabago which also endorsed several people who’re seeking a national position.’ One of the photos even showed Estrada showing a gesture of respect to the Presidential daughter who’s considered as one of the most influential politicians today. Reports said that Jinggoy Estrada wants to be back in the Senate, after being detained in Philippine National Police Custodial Center in Camp Crame for three years because of his alleged involvement in the Pork Barrel Scam. Jinggoy insisted that his detention during the Aquino administration has been “politically motivated”. Jinggoy’s brother, JV Ejercito was also endorsed by the said regional party, however, there’s a known rift between and they could possibly run at the same time in 2019, but not as an ally.
